Our roots go back to Subbiah, the grandfather who laid the foundation of our family's journey in the rice business. His experience, dedication and values became the foundation for the generations that followed.
Following in his family's path, our founder, Baskar S., worked alongside his father and supported his brother while gaining hands-on experience in the trade. Those years taught him the importance of understanding paddy, milling, rice quality, customers, and the people behind the business.
In 2000 he took the step of starting his own rice milling business — carrying forward that experience while building a vision of his own: to provide quality rice, create employment opportunities, and support the people who work alongside us.

Her support is part of the foundation on which our family, and our business, have continued to grow.

Our own milling process was developed through the family's experience and pioneered by our father, Baskar S. — designed to bring out the taste and texture of the rice while keeping the qualities expected from each variety.
