Our roots go back to Subbiah, who laid the foundation of our family's journey in rice. His son, Baskar S., learned the trade beside him and in 2000 started a mill of his own — to provide quality rice and support the people who work alongside us.

Our milling process is our own — developed through the family's experience and pioneered by Baskar S. It is designed to bring out the taste and texture of the rice while keeping the qualities expected from each variety, and it is a large part of what makes our rice different.

With B. Sanjay and B. Nishanth now in the business, the third generation is preparing the mill for wider markets — and, in time, for export. The purpose has not changed: quality in every grain, and trust in every relationship.

Pioneered by our founder, Baskar S., and built on the family's experience. It is designed to bring out the taste and texture of the rice, not just to clean it.
Each variety milled for itself
Ponni, RNR, BPT, Shree and Aman Sona do not behave the same in the mill. We adapt the process to each, so every variety keeps the qualities it is bought for.

Machinery matters, but so does knowing the grain. Experience and the right approach are how we keep taste, texture and quality consistent.
